stupid people

This is my first journal entry ever. Interesting, no?

I sort of hoped that on DA I would find more artists and fewer idiots. But I suppose there will be a high concentration of stupid people anywhere in this world. I don't like people who can't evaluate themselves at least somewhat objectively, I don't like people who block comments so they can bash other people and not allow them to defend themselves, I don't like people who don't think before they speak at least a little, and I don't like people who jump to conclusions and then make very bad decisions based on those conclusions. Why come to DA with such a closed mind that you can't think about what you are seeing? Does it make a person ignorant when they ask questions, think outside of the box, or propose theories and concepts that are new and complex? Or does it make a person stupid when they refuse to consider the other side of an arguement, take offense from objective observations, and make very little defensive arguement of their own while still holding that they are infallibly correct? Of course, that is blurring the line between stupid and immature, but still. I would expect more artists from DA, but I am seeing quite a few children.

youre right tho, there is alot of immature pple on here... i mean comeon, all my WOW fanarts? yeah i got a guy who hates me just cuz i draw Horde chars more n alliance... i mean how stupid can pple be?? wanna...punch them or something ya know?(at least, i think thats why he no likeh me)

fanart and fanfic is cool, so are original ideas. ppl ned to be more accepting of more ideas, that my only problem. thats kind of a large point of artwork, i think. besides, i like you just well.

yeah, you can get in trouble for alot of fanart tho. if it has the slightest something that is the SAME , you can have problems... then you get an idea from someone elses pic armor for example, and they can nail ya for that if you have to much the same... heck i got warned just for using a same pose as someone else once...it was stupid.
:aww::hug: i like ya too, and your stories (tells you to post something else soon0o) , just god it pisses me off when someone pulls that crap, so just to tick them off ya go aww i love you too :hug: or something... they dont talk to ya after XD

hahahaha thats just cruel!

ill post at some point in the future. i intend to sludge thru my val & braith ch 6, but its takin for freakin ever. im in a war scene, and im not quite sure what to do about it. yeah, ideas are ideas. i dont like it when ppl copy my work, but all work is gonna be elements of the person's influences, and i would actually feel a bit... honored. altho it would still tick me off, if it were too blatant. besides, i know no one could pull it off as good as me : )

but as far as borrowing influence, ideas, lines, poses, i dont care. characters, maybe, but still. btw, did you ever finish that thing u were doing of blanc and sheila? (im pretty sure that was you) anywho, im very excited about it, so let me know. yay.

yeah, i think id be ticked if someone copied every little thing about lets say... Thall or Dare and said oh this is my character Daerlan and only changed the hairstyle slightly.. that annoyes me. but whatever else, armor and poses whatnot, i dont really care.

but yes, i am working on Blanc n Sheila, i may just scan it in tomorrow and email it to you and see what you think about it. Blanc is somehow not how i picture him so yeah, ill see what you have to suggest about him. Sheila however i think is fine. ^^

wootage! i cant wait! an important thing to remmeber about blanc is that hes torn between who he is and who he wants to be (but arent we all). just think of him as really creepy, but besides that, hot, and you'll have it. that was a fun story. im tryna focus on v&b but its takin forever! what do you do when writing just becomes a chore?

lol will do... then in that case i should prolly redo it... i might do seperate pix for the two... kinda like what i did for Thall lyni Dare n so on, but in a better pose and i might color it in photoshop (is getting good with that XD)
i leave it where it is and work on the parts that i want to get done the most. or a part that is vividly in my head and i want down before i forget. usually theyre out of order in chapters and even in story parts but it helps you get back to the present ^^
